Open Letter to Service Members

To Our American Service Members,

I am so humbled to be able to give a little of what I have to make your deployment a little more comfortable. I have a deep and abiding love for our nation. While I never served in our armed forces, much of my family has and I know the sacrifices you and your comrades make every day. I sincerely thank you for all those little sacrifices you make to keep my family safe and to protect the freedoms our founders fought so hard to preserve. Please know that I am sincerely grateful to you for your service. I am so proud of you for your hard work and dedication.

Every day, you step in to the boots of generations of men and women who have served this county. You have answered the highest call that a nation can ask of her people, and there are no words that can truly express how grateful I am for your service. Your dedication to duty and honor are an example for those of us who stand behind you.

Thank you for choosing to serve this county. Thank you for getting up every day, putting on your uniform with pride, and serving your nation.

With much respect and gratitude,

Sarah

I live in Missouri on a small farm, that was originally one of the first homesteads in Laclede County. I enjoy volunteering, gardening, foraging, knitting, canning, local history research, and genealogy.
